Obama remarks that the November 2010 elections will be "a choice between falling backward and moving forward." He has a point. Obama's contempt for the U.S. Constitution, coupled with his fervent desire for Unlimited Government, is in its way an attempt to change back the clock to the year 1214. That was the year before the Magna Carta was signed by King John of England. The Magna Carta required the king (head of government) to respect citizens' rights and legal procedures, and also to admit his will was bound by law.

Like all socialists, Obama hates laws that restrain his desire to violate individual rights. For example, Obama whines that the Supreme Court under former Chief Justice Earl Warren "didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution" in order to forcibly take wealth from folks who freely and peacefully earned it, so that Washington D.C. bureaucrats could redistribute it to parasites who did not earn it. Maybe that's because the Founders understood that theft -- especially theft by government -- is inherently immoral, and therefore authored a Constitution preventing government from engaging in theft.

I for one urge all voters to reject Obama-style socialism and every single one of the politicians who support his immoral political philosophy. I look forward to a future of freedom and peaceful respect for all individuals' rights; unlike Obama I do not want to return to a time in which tyrants had unlimited power to violate the rights of peaceful citizens.
