I was delighted to learn that my good friend, former Monmouth County Freeholder and Highlands Mayor Anna C. Little was recently selected to serve as a federal immigration judge. Judge Little has been assigned to a San Francisco, California federal immigration court.
As a public official, I always knew now-Judge Anna C. Little to be an honest, intelligent person who carried out her duties with the highest of ethical standards, a patriotic woman who has always put the public interest above any partisan lines. In her professional life as a private immigration lawyer, she had been known to be a highly skilled attorney, who was truly dedicated to her clients. In her personal life, she is a faithful family woman who loves her children.
Immigration cases require honest judges who can apply the law, with compassion for the personal circumstances of immigrants, and consider the best interests of our country. Judge Little's personal qualities and professional achievements make her someone ideal for such an important position.
Judge Anna C. Little is an inspiration to all, especially women and girls, in her achievements and sets an example of a life of selfless public service. Congratulations, Judge Little on your new position.
