Dear Editor:

Barbara Buono was the clear winner in New Jersey's first gubernatorial debate of the 2013 election.

Buono stood strong for civil rights, New Jersey's working families and the middle class.

Buono supports issues like gay marriage, college scholarships and marijuana decriminalization.

Her opponent, Chris Christie has draconian views on these issues and is out-of-touch.

Christie has no real experience other than being a bully, in both court and politics.

Buono is a well educated, proven leader who can work across party lines for New Jersey as Governor. Her running mate, Milly Silva has dedicated her life to defending worker's rights. New Jersey's working families need Buono-Silva.
