Casting an educated vote on Election Day can be challenging.  It can be hard to follow candidates’ positions on the issues that affect you most.

AARP New Jersey frequently stresses the importance of candidates responding to the 2011 Voters’ Guide, and now it’s your turn.  Now is the chance for the voting public of New Jersey to utilize the questionnaire.

The pocketbook issues discussed in the Voters’ Guide directly affect seniors as well as all of New Jersey in general.  Topics like long-term care services, Medicaid funding, property tax relief and utility regulation are critical and worth knowing before making a decision in November.

These Senate and Assembly candidates can have a huge impact on our way of life.  When we cast our ballots on November 8th we deserve to have all the information we need to make our voice heard.

Voters can access the guide through aarp.org/yourvote and entering their address.
