Dear Editor,

After the recent death of Osama Bin Laden and a final sense of closure regarding 9/11, how do we as Americans ensure that a similar tragedy never occurs again?

What we must learn from 9/11 is that when our government trained and armed Osama Bin Laden's Al-Qaeda during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan we created this monster. The founding fathers all supported a non-interventionist foreign policy, which if followed would have undoubtedly prevented the tragedies of 9/11 from occurring.

But sadly, today history is repeating itself. President Obama has now gotten us into yet another foreign entanglement with his unconstitutional use of the US Military in Libya, without Congressional approval. And we're providing all kinds of tactical support and aid directly to the rebels there to boot. I wonder how long it will be before these "freedom fighters" we have supported become tomorrow's Libya-based terrorist group?
