Regarding the article on John McDonough, U.S. Tour with NJ Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Program, Sept. 23, 2010:

John's Family has been correcting articles on John as we see them since they started appearing last Aug. 2010.  John's death was not caused by Agent Orange.  John left the service in 1973 and died in 2005.  He died from a disease that would have been treatable with professional medical care, something he did not have.  I have the autopsy report and Stacia is fully aware of how he died.  We question her motives in submitting this and other erroneous articles now since it's been over 5 years since his death.

Our regret is having to correct this because my brother was a very private person and would not have wanted this attention.  But to honor his memory, we must speak out.

At this time, we just respectfully ask that he be able to rest peacefully.
