ROAD CLOSURES & DETOURS
DWIGHT ROAD & RED HILL ROAD INTERSECTION
MIDDLETOWN LINCROFT ROAD FROM BAMM HOLLOW TO CASTLE DRIVE

This is an advisory from the Middletown Police Department. Dwight Road and Red Hill Road East of Van Schoick Road will be closed to all traffic beginning Monday May 5, 2008 for approximately 6 weeks, 24 hours a day. During this same 6 week period, Middletown-Lincroft Road between Bamm Hollow Road and Castle Drive will be closed between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays. North and southbound traffic will be detoured using Holland Road, Red Hill Road and Bamm Hollow Road. Please follow detours or use alternate route if possible. SeaStreak sold to the New England Fast Ferry Company

New York and London – Sea Containers Ltd is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary Sea Containers America Inc. has entered into an agreement with a subsidiary of New England Fast Ferry Company for the sale of SeaStreak, the premium fast ferry passenger line, together with its fleet of four catamarans.

Robert Zarinsky Indicted for Murder of Jane Durrua

FREEHOLD, NJ - Monmouth County Prosecutor Luis A. Valentin announced that on Monday, March 17, 2008, a Monmouth County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging Robert Zarinsky, 68, of Bridgeton, N.J. with Murder and Felony Murder in connection with the November 4, 1968 murder of Jane Durrua, 13, of the East Keansburg section of Middletown, N.J.

Jane Durrua disappeared the evening of Monday, November 4, 1968, after taking a shortcut through a grass field along a railroad track on her way home to her residence in East Keansburg.  A search party, which included Jane's family members, found her lifeless, partially clothed body the following morning in the field.  She had sustained blunt force trauma to her head, and it appeared she had been sexually assaulted.  An intensive criminal investigation ensued, in the course of which over 200 individuals were questioned.
