Little Silver, NJ - On Wednesday, May 21, a candlelight vigil
will take place at Marine
Park (rain or shine) in
Red Bank from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm for the victims of the Darfurian genocide. The
organizers are the STAND chapter at Red Bank Regional High School (RBR).

ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, NJ - The Atlantic Highlands PBA has chosen the Area Association of Community Churches (AACC) Food Pantry to be the recipient of their gift
auction at their 21st Annual Ball on May 23rd at the Shore Casino.
We need the community’s help!
What can you do?.
You could make a gift basket for
the auction. You could do this on your own or
with the special discounts from Always Elegant Gift Baskets on First Ave. If you can’t do a whole basket, you could
donate some new items to be gathered with others for a basket.
You could purchase tickets or a whole table of ten for the
night of the event. Tickets are $65.00 each and can be
purchased from the police department at 732-291-1212 or the UMC of Atlantic Highlands
Church Office at 732-291-0485.
You could volunteer
- to sell tickets or solicit baskets
- to help set up the gift auction

HIGHLANDS, NJ - On
Saturday, May 10, between the hours of 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM the storage
area of New Life Christian Church, 125 Bay Avenue, Highlands, NJ, was defaced with orange paint and
graffiti.
Symbols were painted the wall that Pastor Martin McGrail says suggest "ganstas up, hoos down."
