I used to be a better reader (pre-grandchildren) and loved reading all of Robert Ludlum's thrillers with the Bourne series taking the cake.
The first three Bourne films, with Matt Damon, were excellently entertaining and he's a likable actor.
The Bourne Legacy starring relative unknown, Jeremy Renner, was much different; yet very good. Much less a battle of Bourne outwitting/smarting his CIA bosses (Joan Allen, Edward Norton (my favorite ever) and David Strathaim). Much more about Renner's quest to solve his personal situation of being drugged by his CIA operatives and getting weaned from those drugs before dying.
Great action scenes and a compelling 2+ hour movie. I don't think I napped (but might have a little). Definitely a big-screen must see.
