International Grandmaster Nigel Davies to give 20-Board Simultaneous Chess Exhibition and Instructional Clinics

Red Bank, NJ - The Monmouth Chess School and Club is proud to announce that     Grandmaster Nigel Davies, renowned author and teacher, former British Under-21 Chess Champion, British Rapid Play Champion and winner of fifteen international competitions, will give a 20-board simultaneous exhibition and lecture starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 12, 2012. The Participant board fee is $35; Observer fee $25 (does not apply to parents of participants).

In addition, on Saturday, August 11, Grandmaster Davies will give two in-depth  instructional clinics: “The Building Blocks of Chess Mastery” 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM, and “Pattern Recognition, the Openings and Developing Your Chess” 2:00 – 5:00 PM. The fee for either three-hour clinic is $49.

Both the Saturday and Sunday events will take place at 51 Monmouth Street in Red Bank. Signups are on a first-come first-served basis.
