MIDDLETOWN ARTS CENTER PRESENTS THE COOL KIDS 2012 CONCERT SERIES WITH MISS SHERRI AND FRIENDS
Interactive Concerts for All Ages Held Fridays, 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Middletown Arts Center
Middletown, NJ – On January 6th, 2012, award-winning singer- songwriter Miss Sherri kicked off the New Year with more than 150 families at the Middletown Arts Center’s (MAC) “Rockin’ Choo Choo” Cool Kids Concert. The performance was the first in a series of Honey Child TV shows at the MAC, co-produced by Miss Sherri Ehlrich and Steve Rogers, Producer-Director of the Emmy nominated public television series “Driving Jersey.” On Friday, February 17th, the train of fun continues with a show-stopping interactive concert designed to have families fall in love with the arts in Middletown.
The February 17th Cool Kids Concert episode celebrates the theme of love and teaches children the importance of manners and friendships. Miss Sherri + the Little Animal Band will perform songs from their new kindie-rock album, “Send Them Up”, plus traditional children’s tunes sure to please all ages. Joining Miss Sherri in her musical episodes will be the MAC’s very own Dancing Deena and “Go Go Green”, the Motown, environmentalist, groovy girl on a mission to teach children that being green and saving the planet can be tons of fun.
Miss Sherri’s concerts are held Fridays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Middletown Arts Center theater on 36 Church Street in Middletown, NJ (next to the Middletown Train Station). Honey Child TV filming is held once a month. Concert tickets are $5 for children and adults. At each concert, Miss Sherri will pull winners from the audience to receive her new cd, "Send The Up" and a semester of "Me + Momma Rock" music classes at the Middletown Arts Center.
