Bias, Prejudice & Stereotypes: How Do They Affect Us?

The Monmouth County Human Relations Commission and the Greater Red Bank Women’s Initiative (GRBWI) invite you to a presentation by Chief Investigator, Dave D’Amico, local authority on bias incidents and crimes, followed by a conversation with the audience on these issues.

In this interactive workshop we will examine the definitions of prejudice, bias, and discrimination, discuss examples of these concepts, and the resulting bias incidents and bias crimes.In addition to understanding where bias comes from, we will examine the types of bias incidents and bias crime which occur in Monmouth County.

Open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
